She later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, graduating with honors from Arteveldehogeschool. Additionally, Emma expanded her horizons by completing a Bachelor's program in Journalism at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, as well as earning a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Language Studies from Universiteit Gent. To further enrich her linguistic skills, she studied Spanish at Universidad de Salamanca through a Certificate program.

In her professional life, Emma has held significant roles such as Medior contentspecialist at Brandfirm.nl, where she hones her copywriting skills. Previously, she served as an Editor Web at TravelBird, showcasing her expertise in creating engaging web content. Emma's early career included valuable experiences as an Intern at Flair Magazine and being responsible for organizing cultural events at VETO Gent during her time as a student. She also gained retail experience as a Sales assistant at Appel's, Talking French, Tommy Hilfiger, and Lola Liza.
