I worked in marketing in demand side management for Xcel Energy. I supported the Process Efficiency, Energy Management Systems, Motors & Drives, Compressed Air and Commercial Refrigeration, Infowise, Energy Information Systems, Strategic Energy Management and Benchmarking programs. I am proficient in SAP. I have enjoyed working with customers during the benchmarking requirement for Energize Denver and created strategy to help large C&I customers meet Denver's requirements.

I have worked within marketing and product development teams to create 30-day sprints for new products for the demand side management portfolio, including a new data services offering.  As part of my day to day responsibilities I moved projects from inception to completion across departments on time and with goals achieved.

In 2013 I founded NerdNest, the first social media and microblogging platform for fangirls - the passionate, niche audience of women ages 13-30 who self-identify as nerdy and members of fandom.  This was born out of my own life as a fandom and a passionate desire to improve my fangirl community.  I conducted market research on the demographic, the only extensive proprietary research that exists on this demographic to date.  To promote NerdNest, I completed a successful international speaking tour of Comic Conventions, speaking on the themes of feminist fandom and empowering women through fandom.  NerdNest was featured on the front page of Westword magazine, in Legion of Leia, Her Universe, USA Today, and more.

During my time as NerdNest's leader, I executed national and international marketing campaigns.  I worked to manage budget, financials, and all investment for NerdNest.  I managed and worked with an international team of up to 13 members.
