Canvas Ventures co-founder and general partner Paul Hsiao has an extensive background in investment and business management. With an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Hsiao has been involved in numerous high-profile organizations throughout his career. Before joining Canvas Ventures, Hsiao was the co-founder and chairman of PipeDreams Ventures, an investor and board member at companies like Upwork and Houzz, and a partner at New Enterprise Associates. He also has experience with market entry strategy and new products development, having worked for McKinsey & Company and Medtronic, respectively. Today, Hsiao focuses on investing in and advising disruptive technology companies.
