Steve Flatow is a seasoned marketing leader in the sports industry with over three decades of extensive experience. He has a solid track record of building brands, driving revenue, and spearheading change. Steve is a pioneer in sports sponsorship and has played a significant role in its evolution from the traditional model to the partnership approach. With a particular interest in driving support for municipal initiatives and events, he established a lucrative new Partnerships business for New York City. Steve also created a hybrid philanthropy/partnership monetization model for sports-affiliated nonprofits.

Additionally, Steve was involved in the development of the National Hockey League's current All-Star Weekend format and co-developed the National Hockey League Plan for Olympics Participation in 1994. He oversaw the plan for NHL's first outdoor game, featuring the Rangers and the Kings, at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in September 1991. Furthermore, Steve developed, constructed, and managed a 150,000 sq. ft., $50 million sports and events complex in Brooklyn, built out of dilapidated airplane hangars at Floyd Bennett Field, New York City's first airport.

Steve holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University. He is the President at SDF Management Group and a former Adjunct Professor at Oxbridge Academic Programs. Steve also held leadership positions at Bloomberg Sports, NYC & Company, National Basketball Association, Major Indoor Soccer League, and Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
