Renee Owusu-Ansah is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in emergency preparedness and response planning and implementation. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences and her Master's degree in Health, both at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her career began as an intern at the Northeast Texas Public Health District, where she worked her way up to become the Medical Reserve Corps Program Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator/TDVR Regional Administrator. Renee has also worked at the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) as a State Medical Reserve Corps/TDVR Intern.

Renee's experience in emergency management and public health has led to her current role as Public Health Manager at Dallas County Health and Human Services. She was also previously the Strategic National Stockpile Coordinator and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at the Victoria Office of Emergency Management. Renee's background in public health and clinical sciences has provided her with a unique perspective on the intersection between healthcare and emergency preparedness.

In addition to her professional work, Renee has served as an IT technician at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her diverse experience has equipped her with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of roles within public health and emergency management.
