Andy Kahn, a Philadelphia-based pianist, music educator, songwriter, and record producer, has established himself as a prominent artist in the American music scene. With a strong foundation in music education from Hofstra University, Andy has gone on to perform on various stages across the country, including the Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City, World Cafe Live Philadelphia, and Hedgerow Theatre Media PA. He is also a member of The All-Star Jazz Quartet with seasoned musicians like Bruce Klauber, Bruce Kaminsky, and Asher Stein.
Apart from his music career, Andy is the third-generation owner of Southwark Paint & Decorating Company, which was founded by his grandfather in 1918. He is also the co-owner of MaxRoxx Music, an independent record label that he founded in 2008. With releases like "Hot Shot - The Karen Young Reheat," "Rendezvous With Me" by Karen Young, and "The Bank of Love" by Pamala Stanley, MaxRoxx Music has cemented its place in the music industry.
Andy has collaborated with several lyricists to compose new songs and produces and arranges musical recordings. As an artist-in-residence at Jacobs Music Company and a Steinway Spirio Artist for Steinway & Sons, he shares his expertise in jazz and improvisation with pianists, other instrumentalists, and vocalists. Moreover, he performs publically and conducts fundraising concerts for various causes like MANNA of PA and Musicopia Philadelphia.
