Joy Cohen is a skilled Communications Professional whose passion for storytelling has fueled her success in both the public and private sector. With more than five years of experience in Marketing and Communications, she has become an expert in creating solutions for complex problems. As a Cultural Anthropologist, Joy utilizes her research skills to deepen her understanding of the diverse societies she interacts with.

During her time at SMMA, Joy's role as Marketing Communications Coordinator has allowed her to showcase her creative talents and eye for detail. Before that, she served as External Relations Manager at Our Generation Speaks, where she played a crucial role in cultivating partnerships with various organizations. As Communications Coordinator at both Payette and OGS, she honed her skills in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns.

Joy is a proud Boston University alumna, having earned her Bachelor's Degree in International Relations: Community Politics and Cultural Anthropology in the MENA, and studying abroad in Rabat, Morocco to further her studies in International Relations and Affairs & Arabic. Her expertise in communications, cultural anthropology, and international relations makes her an asset to any team.
