Yosuke Hosoi is an ambitious and resilient business professional with a wealth of experience in emerging markets, turnaround projects, project management, and share acquisition. Hosoi attended the University of Tokyo, where he studied Materials Engineering and Science obtaining his Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng.). He then went on to pursue a Masters in Materials Engineering and Science at the University of Tokyo and later received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Harvard Business School.

Throughout his career, Hosoi has held several high-level positions in various organizations, including his current position as the Head of GM Operations Office at Anglo American Quellaveco S.A. Before this, he worked at Mitsubishi Corporation in various roles, including Manager, Quellaveco business, MC Inversiones Peru, and Manager, Metals Group. Hosoi also worked as a Senior Management Accountant for Hernic Ferrochrome (Pty) Ltd and as a Business Development Associate for the Natural Resource Investment Division at Mitsubishi Corporation.

Apart from his job roles, Hosoi has also completed internships at ASTROSCALE and Planetary Resources, Inc. At ASTROSCALE, he worked as an MBA Summer Intern, and at Planetary Resources, he worked as a Summer Intern.
