Jensen Liu is a seasoned business professional with a background in finance, strategy, operations, and partnerships across a variety of industries. Liu is an alumnus of the Ivey Business School at Western University, where he studied business administration, as well as the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he studied business and finance. He has also studied economics at Western University.

Liu began his professional career as a corporate banker at Bank of China before transitioning to private equity at JD Capital and Digital Assets International. He later worked in M&A consulting at Ningbo Menovo Pharmaceutical Co. and as an advisor at Catalyst Career Advisors.

Liu has also worked as a strategy and partnership consultant at the Plug and Play Tech Center, a global innovation platform and early-stage investor in 14 industries, including Mobility, Internet of Things, Fintech, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Real Estate & Construction. Additionally, he has held leadership roles in strategy, operations, and business development at HomeOptions, a real estate tech startup. Liu also previously lectured at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
