E. David Luria is a prolific architectural photographer and instructor based in Washington DC. As a graduate of Amherst College and a former Field Representative, Research Associate, and Assistant Chief of Mission at CARE, Inc. in various countries throughout Central and Latin America, he brings years of international experience to his photography. Mr. Luria has studied at Parsons School of Design in Paris, where he was trained in photography by a protege of famed French photographer Henri Cartier Bresson. He is a founding member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers and a member of the American Society of Media Photographers. One of Mr. Luria's most popular offerings is Washington Photo Safari, which he founded and directs. The program leads amateur photographers on tours of key sites throughout the nation's capital while teaching them important photography techniques. Over 39,000 aspiring shutterbugs from 50 US states and 53 countries have received instruction through the program's 5,800 photo safaris to date. In recognition of its consistently excellent reviews, Washington Photo Safari has received six consecutive annual Certificates of Excellence and a Hall of Fame Award from Trip Advisor.

In addition to Washington Photo Safari, Mr. Luria specializes in architectural, restaurant, food, and event photography. He has photographed over 3,200 apartment properties, hotels, and restaurants since 1995, and his images of the DC area have graced the covers of 30 magazines and appeared in over 100 other publications. Mr. Luria is fluent in Spanish, French, and German and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Central and Latin America, and the U.S.
