Kris Layng

Kris Layng is an award-winning creative director, set designer, and virtual space creator for VR, AR, and the metaverse. With an educational background in film and television production as well as a Master of Fine Arts in design for stage and film, Kris has navigated through the entertainment industry, working for networks such as Netflix, Viacom, and HBO, to name a few. He's been recognized for his work, including a nomination for an Art Director's Guild Award for his contributions to MANIAC. Kris's credentials include an artist-in-residence role at NYU Future Reality Lab, where he co-created and directed a VR experience called CAVE, which won Best Art Paper Award at SIGGRAPH. Kris Co-Founded Parallux, where he serves as CCO.Highlighting his experience in art direction, concept art, and production, Kris's expertise proves to be quite diverse.
