With a background in International Relations and National Security Studies, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused on Computational Political Science and Government from the University of Antwerp. Hasan has worked for esteemed organizations such as NATO, the European Commission, and AI4Belgium. He has been a member of several think tanks and institutes, serving as a Creéia member at the Centre de Recherche et Expertise en Éthique et Intelligence Artificielle and a Research Fellow at the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism.
