Oversee all legal, compliance and governance matters globally and closely advise other senior leadership on innovative global strategy, operational best practices, corporate transactions, M&A, private equity financing, labor and employment law, litigation, crisis management, data security and privacy compliance and real estate law
-  Manage multi-time zone global in-house business affairs team in US, UK and China and outside counsel
-  Structure and implement the commercial legal framework to deliver on end-to-end aims of consumer product businesses totaling $12 Billion at retail, including product development, manufacturing, branding retail activations, marketing review, regulatory compliance, consumer protection, e-commerce, leases, intellectual property, multi-territory franchising, executive compensation and corporate filings

- Counseled advertising agencies, production companies and publishers on all aspects of their businesses, with a focus on protecting, policing and enforcing intellectual property rights
- Litigated and advised on trademark, copyright, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy, unfair competition, false advertising and defamation claims for a broad range of media, technology and entertainment clients, including major entertainment companies, celebrity actors, film producers and advertising agencies

- Engaged in broad-based commercial litigation practice, including intellectual property, media law and pharmaceutical and tobacco products liability defense in federal and state courts
- Co-wrote amicus brief in FOIA action on behalf of national media coalition, including New York Times Co. and Hearst Corp.
- Drafted amicus brief on behalf of California media coalition in the first case in California Supreme Court to interpret Proposition 59, which amended the California Constitution to provide greater public access to government meetings and records
- Pro bono work included vetting candidates for high-level public office during 2004 U.S. Presidential Campaign
