Adam Palermo is an accomplished scientific leader in the field of genomics, genetics, computational biology, and gene therapy. He graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Biochemical Sciences and earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from Stanford University. He has held various roles at Decibel Therapeutics including VP, Molecular Platform and Senior Director and Head of Genomics and Computational Biology. Previously, he worked at Genzyme, now Sanofi, where he held positions ranging from Senior Research Associate to Scientific Director, Functional Genomics. He also worked at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Research Associate. Throughout his career, Adam has specialized in bringing together different areas of expertise to advance scientific research and gene therapy.
