Meredith Berg is an accomplished writer, director, and comic-book editor based in Los Angeles. She holds a BFA in Directing and Acting from New York University and has also studied Directing Workshop for Women at The American Film Institute Conservatory. Berg has made a name for herself in the theater world, having adapted and directed the Off-Broadway production of Julius Caesar for the York Shakespeare Company in New York and directing the world premiere of Lights Off, Eyes Closed for the Skypliot Theatre Company in LA. She has also directed several episodes of the hit digital series Lana Steele: Makeup Spy for Estee Lauder Cosmetics, starring Lily Singh.

Berg has a passion for genre storytelling, which is reflected in her work as a story editor for comic books, including the graphic novel for Cowboys & Aliens. Her AFI Directing Workshop for Women horror short, Void, premiered at Screamfest LA and was met with critical acclaim. Berg's screenplay Faceless, a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, earned her a place on the Blood List, a roundup of the best thriller and horror feature screenplays of the year.

Berg's impressive filmography includes Dementia, her first feature script that was produced by BoulderLight Pictures and released by IFC Midnight. The film received rave reviews from multiple publications, including the Village Voice and LA Times, and was selected as the New York Times' Critic's Pick of the week. Currently, Dementia is available on various streaming platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix.
