I joined this London startup where I worked mainly with GraphQL, Event Sourcing and some DDD. With special attention to clean code (using design patterns) and good practices, including improving the codebase test coverage.

Main duties:
-  Work towards a refactor of the code to simplify its current complexity
-  Take care of code reviews
-  Ensure test coverage increases over time
-  Follow good practices and guide towards them
-  Implement agile methodologies and sprint planning
-  Maintain documentation
-  Help take technological decisions with the CTO

First job working remotely with an extensive team of distributed engineers to work on a legacy project. I helped on adding new features to a really complex system, improving quality, modernizing some of the modules and introducing good practices such as testing and code reviews.

I started working on its Community project where users all around the world could complete hotels details and get miles that could be converted to money later on. Based on legacy code, my main duty was to refactor critical parts of the system and introduce testing.

Later on we build Community from scratch, helping with the architecture of the project, communicating with stakeholders and different teams to consume new API’s created for us and mentoring an external team to work with us.

I was one of the co-founders of Fanobi. My main role in this startup was Chief Technical Officer (CTO), as I was responsible for choosing all the relevant technologies used in the project. I was also working as developer in an Agile way using Scrum along with testing and code reviewing.

I was one of the main developers of this company. When I joined them I started working on the development from scratch of it's primary site, <a href="http://PornTube.com">PornTube.com</a> and also on adding new features to one of the other main sites: <a href="http://4Tube.com">4Tube.com</a>

After a period of time where we mainly developed with Zend Framework, we focused on developing API's that could be used by fronted websites and applications.

I learned to have a strong commitment with Agile principles and Test Driven Development and I was always looking for better ways to improve our sites. Millions of daily users force you to think out of the box.
