Keith Siew
Keith Siew, a renal-cardiovascular physiologist with expertise in imaging techniques and in vivo functional assessments, is making a difference in the field of blood pressure, water and electrolyte homeostasis. His research focus is centered around the WNK pathway, a promising area of study for better understanding and treating these conditions. Siew, who earned a doctorate in medicine from the University of Cambridge, is also a former Education, Public Engagement & Policy Committee Member, Peer Reviewer, and Scientific Editor - Physiology News of The Physiological Society. As a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow at UCL, he has also worked as a tutor, and course coordinator & lecturer on educational and outreach projects. Siew's educational background includes degrees in Pharmacology &, Physiology, and Imaging & Microscopy with honors from University College Dublin. Siew received 485/600 points on his Leaving Certificate at Meánscoil Iognáid Rís (CBS), Drimnagh Castle Secondary School.
