Maggie J. Parker is an accomplished real estate developer and founder of Innovan Neighborhoods. Parker is passionate about using real estate development as a vehicle for inclusive, economic growth, building generational wealth in distressed neighborhoods. With a diverse educational background in Urban Studies, City and Regional Planning, Economic Development, Regional Collaboration, and Real Estate Development, Parker is equipped with the expertise to drive community-driven initiatives. She studied at esteemed universities such as UNC-Chapel Hill, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Cape Town. Prior to Innovan, Parker worked as the Director of TREC Community Fund at The Real Estate Council and interned with New South Ventures, HR&A Advisors, and DFI: Development Finance Initiative at UNC School of Government. She has also worked for the City of Rocky Mount as a City Management Graduate Intern, conducted research as a research assistant at UNC, and served as a Coro™ Fellow in Public Affairs at FOCUS St. Louis. Overall, Parker is an accomplished individual with an impressive background and a strong sense of community-driven initiatives.
