Recruitment Specialist

As the first recruitment team hire, I helped create our recruitment coordination processes and procedures, while focusing on trying to make the best candidate experience possible.Some of my responsibilities include managing our ATS system, working closely with hiring managers, scheduling phone screens, technical phone screens, and onsite interviews for every department at Merit, coordinating candidate travel and reviewing/posting JD's.

Recruiting Coordinator

Provided quality customer service experience for candidates through the interview process; scheduled interviews for up to 30 candidates per week through gHire, coordinated travel and hosting, and maintained clear communication with hiring mangers, recruiters, and candidates during the interview scheduling process. My role included:•Scheduling phone and onsite interviews for Google candidates •Managing all the interview logistics such as room bookings and arranging travel accommodations for candidates•Worked with up to seven interviewers calendars to coordinate the best interview schedule •Acted as a liaison between interviewers, recruiters, hiring managers, ABP’s, and candidates •Selected for special project to schedule interviews for the Grace Hopper Conference; scheduled 24 candidates with lead time of 72 hours resulting in which 100% of candidates were successfully interviewed  •Designated team’s POC for phone screen batch days, created batch day metric reports, and lead the team to exceed given quota•Hosted candidates on campus, ensuring they have a positive and friendly interview experience•Assisted with training and onboarding new team members •Excellent attention to detail while managing multiple competing priorities

Sunnyvale Post-Acute provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation and specialized services.My role included:•	Planning and organizing daily activities, entertainment, trips, and events for 99 patients•	Managing and supervising activity staff and volunteers to ensure activity program was executed correctly  • Hiring activity assistants • Interviewing and collecting data on new residents • Scheduling and planning entertainment activities with performers, churches, and volunteer groups• Attending care plan meetings to discuss patients progress, participation and activity preference • Analyzing patient needs and develop personalized care plans after interviewing each patient • Creating, maintaining, and ordering monthly activity calendars for facility and patients

Stonehenge of Orem specializes in post-hospitalization care and rehabilitation. My role at Stonehenge included:*Planning, organizing, and implementing 2-4 hours of activities daily for 30 patients*Creating, managing, and distributing monthly activity calendars* Scheduling, participating, and presenting in daily and monthly meetings with department directors and patients*Interviewing, assessing, and creating goals with incoming patients* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, department directors, and staff

Provo Canyon School is a provider of residential youth treatment and supports the academic, therapeutic, and developmental needs of their students. They have a diverse population of students referred to their services from all over North America. They have established a reputation for being a premier school and residential mental health treatment program that serves youth that are struggling with emotional, behavioral and academic challenges.My role at Provo Canyon School included:•Planning, organizing,implementing, and evaluating Therapeutic Recreation and leisure programs to pre-adolescent behavioral health patients•Helping plan and implement the winter sports and camping programs•Assessing incoming patients to determine their deficits,needs, and Recreational Therapy goal•Assessing outgoing patients to determine the success of their recreation therapy experience  •Participating in weekly Treatment Team meetings to discuss individual needs of patients•Developing and maintaining positive therapeutic relationships with pre-adolescent patients
