Rob van Buitenen is a seasoned specialist in volumetric and gravimetric dosing of powders, fibers, pellets, granules, rework, chips, and gravimetric liquid dosing. He is also an expert in strict granulation of various thermoplastics, such as glass fiber reinforced and highly filled thermoplastics, plus complete manual and automatic granulation installations, cooling baths, strict dryers, dry systems, CAD designed melting heads for single and double screw extruders from multiple extruder manufacturers, and powder mills for thermoplastics at ambient temperature or cryogenic. In addition, Rob is also proficient in extruder peripheral equipment like sieve changers for continuous and discontinuous processes, vacuum degassing, classifier sieve machines, mixing silos, and melt pumps.

Rob holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and studied marketing, sales, and business marketing at NIMA-A, NIMA-B, and Business Sales Management. He also founded SPS - Solids Process Solutions and has held several managerial and account management positions in different industries such as TS Systems BV, Brabender Technologie GmbH & Co KG, Van Dijk Industries, Zeppelin Belgium, Jongerius Verder, Keystone Sales Division BV, and Dosco Flow Control.
