Joel Fishman
Joel Fishman is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and screenwriter with a passion for sustainability. He co-founded Green Street USA, a startup sustainability consulting company that seeks to revolutionize how small and medium-sized enterprises embrace sustainability. Joel earned a B.A. in English from Tufts University, and is pursuing a Masters of Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
Joel has a wealth of experience in the publishing and entertainment industries. He worked as a senior editor at Doubleday before becoming a literary agent. He has written and published three nonfiction books and eight novels and has a horror novel under a pen name, The Prisoner of Hell Gate. In addition to his writing, Joel has written screenplays and TV pilots in multiple genres. Joel’s proposed NYPD BOMB SQUAD television series has a shopping agreement with a Hollywood producer. And his social drama feature GOOD CITIZEN was accepted to the prestigious Stowe Story Labs for 2018 and will be the subject of a short film, currently in pre-production, entitled THE MEXICAN TRAIN. Joel is a storyteller, fiction and ghostwriting enthusiast, and communications coach with a focus on issues of identity.
