Dan Calpin

Dan Calpin, a former Partner at Bain & Company, is now the President of Hive - Enterprise AI and a Senior Advisor at Bain & Company. His expertise lies in the field of Tech, Media, and Telecom and Customer Strategy & Marketing. With extensive experience in Bain Media Lab, a digital products business, he has partnered with Hive to launch Mensio - a software product applying computer vision and deep learning to video content for faster and more granular measurement of sponsorship placements and branded content. Dan, with his focus on AI solutions for industry use cases, leads Hive's deep learning models to deliver practical solutions of applications including automated content moderation, context / object detection and OCR. Dan studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Southern California to gain his education in MBA Operations Management; Marketing and BS Business Administration; Strategic Management respectively.
