Umakant Soni

Umakant Soni is the Co-founder and CEO of ARTPARK, an AI and Robotics Technology Park that aims to build the AI mothership for six billion users. Recognized as India's nominate expert for Innovation and Commercialization working group, Global Partnership on AI (GPAI), Soni is a prominent figure in the AI industry. He co-founded pi Ventures, India's first AI fund that has backed some of the best AI companies in India such as Sigtuple and Niramai. Additionally, Soni is an IIT Kanpur Alumnus, an Angel Investor, and holds two patents. He began his professional journey as a Research Assistant at IIT Kanpur and later worked as a Strategy Consultant at Wipro Technologies. Later on, he worked for Science India as a Director India and Lunar Design as Digital Strategy Advisor before founding his own AI BOT start-up, Vimagino. Soni's interests revolve around AI, Innovation, Commercialization of Technology, Strategy, and Digital Transformation.
