Julian Thompson is an accomplished legal professional and strategist who has made a name for himself in the fields of education policy and leadership. With a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Morehouse College, he has a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience that he brings to his current role as a strategist at UNCF. Prior to this, he served as Senior Program Manager for Leadership at UNCF and Senior Policy Advisor to Councilwoman and Majority Whip Blondell Reynolds Brown in the City of Philadelphia. He has also worked as Charter Policy and Quality Manager at The School District of Philadelphia and as a Program Manager at City Year. Before moving into education policy, Julian Thompson was a social studies teacher at Breakthrough Collaborative and worked as a policy intern at the Philadelphia Education Fund.
