Praful Rao is an agile evangelist with over 19 years of experience in software development and services. He is currently serving as the Senior Manager II, Technical Program Management at Walmart Global Tech India where he manages complex project portfolios aligned with business goals and priorities. Prior to this, he worked as an Agile Advisor and Program Manager at Yahoo! SDC in Bangalore, supporting the agile transformation of the organization. He is a certified SAFe Program Consultant and has also developed training courseware for Agile software development. Praful is passionate about helping people improve and realize their full potential through Agile practices.

Praful has a background in software engineering, quality assurance, project management, process improvement, and leadership. He has led numerous teams that were both large in size and widely distributed, having collaborated with and led teams with diverse backgrounds. Praful is well-versed with organizational design, business, psychology, and organizational change management, making him a trusted advisor on value-driven and innovative software development practices. He has personally trained hundreds of software professionals on Scrum and Agile software development.
