Jerry Daykin is a seasoned media, digital, and marketing expert with significant experience working in both agency and client-side roles across a range of industries. Currently, he serves as the EMEA Senior Media Director at GSK, leading the media team across 50+ markets in the region. He is also a global leader in GSK's diversity and representation efforts across marketing. Previously, Jerry held roles such as the Head of Global Media Partnerships at Diageo, the Global Digital Partner at Carat, and the Head of Social Media Marketing at Mondelēz International.
Jerry is passionate about driving real business change and results, focusing his efforts on digital and traditional investment strategies that optimize plans to drive brand growth. He believes in the importance of marketing science and maximizing opportunities while also sticking to the basics of good media communication.
Outside of his work, Jerry is a director at the Conscious Advertising Network and Outvertising, sits on the WFA's Global Media Board and the steering group for the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, and co-chairs their Diversity and Representation task force, as well as ISBA and the Advertising Association's equivalent. He is also an advocate for marketing, a regular speaker and writer on industry topics, with contributions to top publications such as The Drum and The Guardian, and speaking engagements at Cannes Lions, DMEXCO, and Advertising Week.
