Yitao Qiu

Yitao Qiu is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in automotive engineering and computational mechanics.

He pursued his education at top institutions, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, a Master's degree in Computational Mechanics with outstanding grades from Stanford University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Mechanics from Stanford University.

Throughout his academic journey, Yitao explored various fields such as materials, mechanics, electronics, mechanical design, thermal science, programming, and control engineering.

Currently, his focus lies in computational mechanics, where he excels in developing his Finite Element Method (FEM) code utilizing C++ and Python.

Yitao's interests extend to diverse applications of computational methods, including but not limited to batteries, fuel cells, additive manufacturing, flexible electronics, and bio-systems.

He has contributed significantly to the academic community as a Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford University and previously served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at both Tsinghua University and a Visiting Student at The University of Texas at Austin.
