Dipankar Chakrabarti

Dipankar Chakrabarti is an accomplished executive with a wealth of experience in Systems & Management Consultancy, eCommerce, and emerging technologies. He has worked across multiple industries, including metals and mineral, nuclear power plants, retail chains, public sectors, and manufacturing, and has managed and executed successful projects in the US, Japan, Germany, Singapore, South Africa, and India.

Chakrabarti has a proven track record in e-Auction Management, e-Payment, and e-Procurement Management, and he was the head of Knowledge Process Outsourcing for one of India's steel production giants. He has implemented quality processes like ISO 9001:2001, ISO 27001, and SEI-CMM Level 5 and has a deep understanding of IT strategy, business compliance, risk management, start-up consulting, cloud transformation, and large program management.

Chakrabarti is a blockchain evangelist and has published papers in international conferences such as PDCN 2005: Innsbruck, Austria, Feb 14-16, 2006, and SEPG conferences from 2013 to 2017. He is a Life Member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, a Senior Member of IEEE, and an Eastern Region Council Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Chakrabarti holds an M.Tech in Nuclear Engineering & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an FPM in Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi. He has also studied Corporate Creativity and Innovation at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School Online, and Chemical Engineering at the University of Calcutta.

Currently, Chakrabarti is the Executive Director & Chief Data Control Officer at PwC India, and he has also worked as a visiting faculty member at both the Indian Institute of Management in Ranchi and Lucknow.
