Dan Hugos is a highly skilled telecommunications professional, with over 30 years of management experience in the field. He earned his Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1986, and went on to spend a decade in management positions at U S West Communications. During his tenure at the company, Hugos dealt with both powerful unions and supervised both hourly workers and other managers.

In 1995, Hugos relocated to the New York area to work for Reuters Information in Manhattan, where he learned Access development and the basics of SQL Server and client-server programming. He formed DHDB Communications in 1996, and did independent database development projects for companies such as Morgan Stanley, Reuters, Eaton Corporation, and Westchester County NY.

Over the years, Hugos has become an expert in database development, organizational communications, marketing, and promotion. In 2003, he took a position with Connolly Consulting, an accounts receivable auditing company, and worked extensively with large-scale SQL Server databases before moving full-time to Jim Thorpe, PA in 2005 to focus on his production company, JTAMS Productions. He currently serves as president of the Jim Thorpe Chamber of Commerce and has revamped their website and town billboard.
