Leif Forer

Leif Forer, MBA, is a seasoned sustainability consultant with almost 20 years of expertise in establishing and expanding manufacturing operations and production processes.

He played a pivotal role in the founding of Piedmont Biofuels, a prominent player in biodiesel production, and later served as the Chief Operating Officer at bioMASON, focusing on eco-friendly manufacturing of building materials.

Leif's diverse background includes stints in finance, management consulting, and leadership roles in various sectors like renewable energy, chemical, biotechnology, food, and consumer products manufacturing.

His sustainability acumen is deepened by his work as a greenhouse gas (GHG) verifier and lead auditor for multiple standards such as Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

Leif holds an esteemed Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in applied design from Hampshire College.
