Jerry Fugate, a Senior Biology Faculty at Portland Community College, has been educating students since 1995. Jerry's primary subjects are Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Cell Biology, which cater to future healthcare professionals such as nurses, paramedics, medical technical specialists, imaging specialists, occupational therapists, and many others. Jerry is passionate about guiding students towards successful healthcare careers and making a positive impact on society.

Jerry is also a talented musician who performs with the Arabesque band. They specialize in Middle Eastern music and regularly play a gig dedicated to belly dancing and traditional music from various parts of the world. He is also experienced in lighting and sound reinforcement and has provided sound and production services for his own and other performers' projects.

Jerry has a Master of Science (MS) in Biology from Portland State University. In his past, he has also worked as an Instructor at Mt. Hood Community College and as a Wrench at Coventry CycleWorks.
