Developed two low-frequency ice-penetrating radar devices to characterize the depth, flow, and other properties of temperate glaciers. Profiled the Bering and Malaspina glaciers in Alaska from the air in a successful field test. Supported deployment of the systems in Antarctica.

Created simulations to optimize the performance of high speed multiprocessor systems when they share critical resources.
