Sara Sanford
Sara Sanford is a data-driven business development expert, consultant, and educator with a focus on promoting diversity and equity. She is the founder and executive director of GEN, a social enterprise that conducts research and consults on data-smart workforce transformation. Sara is also a former guest faculty at the University of Washington Information School and has worked as a program manager for John Hancock and Symetra Investment Services. Her professional experience also includes working as a project manager for Finca La Anita, an ecotourism enterprise, and as a field manager for the Washington Public Interest Research Group. She holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in English Literature and International Relations from Carleton College. Sara's areas of expertise include impact measurement, research design, KPI development, and effective communication.
