Jessica Burnquist is a highly skilled and experienced educator, writer, and program coordinator with a passion for human rights education. She studied Creative Writing and Poetry at the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. Jessica's professional career began as an English Teacher at the New School for the Arts and Academics, followed by several teaching positions at other schools and universities. However, her path ultimately led her to become a Teaching Ambassador, Curriculum Writer, and Program Coordinator for Rock Your World, an online human rights education program with a focus on advocacy campaigns and amplification of young voices. Thanks to her outstanding work with this program, Jessica rose to become the Director and now Vice President of Education at Creative Visions Foundation. In this role, she continues to empower teachers and students to change the world positively through media-based advocacy campaigns, teacher and youth summits, and workshops. Jessica's expertise in human rights education and her passion for inspiring students' and educators' activism make her a valuable figure in the education sector.
