Meet Alex Pattle, a skilled journalist with a diverse range of experiences in the sports, music, and media industries. Originally from Brentwood School, Alex pursued his passion for language and culture at the University of Warwick, where he earned a degree in German with Italian and spent a year studying abroad at the renowned Univeristät Würzburg. There, he honed his abilities in German studies and developed an understanding of cross-cultural communication.
After graduation, Alex took on various internships at Reuters, The Sunday Times and ESPN, where he was able to gain an in-depth insight into the world of journalism. His writing career began at The Boar, where he started writing about sports, while also taking on a marketing role in the Warwick University Drum Society and later as a Sports Officer at the Warwick University German Society.
Alex's writing has been published in The Independent, where he worked as a Sports Journalist and later as their Combat Sports Correspondent. Throughout his career, Alex has proven himself to be a versatile and passionate writer, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for storytelling. With a strong background in journalism, language and culture, Alex has a unique perspective on the industry and is always looking for new ways to innovate and grow.
