Kavita Thakkar is an innovative engineering leader with a proven track record of successful project delivery. She is a graduate of the University of Rajasthan, India, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics. Afterward, Thakkar continued her education with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Portland State University. She has also studied at GE Crotonville, where she focused on Foundations of Leadership and Leadership Development.

Throughout her career, Thakkar has held key positions at several reputable organizations, including Tektronix, GTS Services, GE Healthcare, and MedicaLogic. At Tektronix, she serves as the Global Fortive Business System Leader and previously held the position of Sr. Engineering Leader. Prior to that, Thakkar was the Director of Engineering at GTS Services and held various leadership roles at GE Healthcare, where she was a Scrum Master/Engineering Leader, Lead Systems Designer, and Team Lead. Thakkar began her career as a Clinical Systems Engineer at MedicaLogic and later worked as a Software Engineer (Consultant) at Sharp Labs of America.
