Marc Appelbaum is an accomplished Information Security Leader with a wealth of experience designing and implementing security programs to align with business objectives. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Appelbaum has led the global information security program at Meridian Health, and served as a Senior Technical Manager-Information Security at Vonage. His background also includes extensive experience as a Security Architect and Senior Systems Administrator at Dow Jones & Co., and a Senior Operations Analyst at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals.

Throughout his career, Appelbaum has focused on developing security programs that adapt to the evolving compliance landscape, with expertise in PCI, SOX, FCC, FTC, HIPAA, HITECH, HiTrust, and Privacy Compliance. He is also skilled in data loss prevention, incident response, investigations, vulnerability analysis, and security policy. Appelbaum has presented at the RSA Conference and participates in organizations such as Infragard.

Appelbaum holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Monmouth University and has an active US Security Clearance.
