George Bousis
George Bousis is a well-known entrepreneur and professional gamer from the Midwest. He began his career as a professional gamer at the age of 14 and won several esports tournaments. After retiring from esports, he worked at his family-owned business, Cermak Fresh Market. After gaining experience in various leadership roles, George founded Raise, a leading retail payments and gift card company, which grew to become the largest exchange and mobile prepaid wallet in the world.
Under George's leadership, Raise generated nearly $4 billion in transactions and saved its millions of customers over $175 million to date. In addition, he has attracted more than $147 million in funding from leading global investors.
Recently, George founded two new ventures, Oath Gaming, a professional esports organization, and Offline, a national gaming and entertainment brand of esports lounges and arenas focused on connecting gamers of all ages and skills in one, player-friendly experience.
George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics - Political Science from DePaul University. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Leadership 100, and a Major Contributor to FWD.us, a recipient of Chicago Business 20 in their 20's, a three-time recipient of the Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs List, and an esteemed honoree of the Forbes 30 Under 30 List.
