Batu Karasakal

Batu Karasakal is a seasoned senior product designer based in Izmir, Turkey, with a strong background in assisting companies in validating, prototyping, and enhancing digital products. He is proficient in the complete design process, from initial research to product launch, showcasing expertise in designing clean and functional interfaces, validating design solutions, creating interactive prototypes, conducting usability testing, user interviews, and developing design systems for designers. Batu has previously worked at Hipo, Superpeer, Socio, Goodsted, and Atolye15.

Batu Karasakal holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Anadolu University. He brings a unique blend of technical and social science backgrounds to his design practice.

Currently, Batu serves as a Senior Designer at Hiaka Labs and has held key positions in various organizations in the past, such as Founder at Talkcast, Senior Product Designer at Paysend, Product Designer at Clover, Lead Product Design at Socio (a part of Webex), Product Designer at Goodsted, Lead Product Designer at Atölye15, and Product Designer at Atölye15.
