Colin Stacey

Colin Stacey is an accomplished public sector executive with a wealth of experience spanning over twenty years, focusing on assessing and managing complex policy issues within the Government of Canada and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). With a strong expertise in the transport sector, Colin has honed his skills in building relationships with a wide array of partners, including international, intergovernmental, private sector, and civil society entities. Moreover, his multilingual capabilities in English, French, and Spanish further enhance his cross-cultural communication skills.

Colin pursued his academic interests by completing a Master's degree in International Affairs from Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA). He also expanded his educational horizons as an exchange student in International Affairs at El Colegio de México and earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from The University of British Columbia.

Throughout his career, Colin has held several key positions within Transport Canada - Transports Canada, such as Director General of Air Policy, Acting Director General of Marine Safety and Security, Acting Director General of Pilotage Act Review, Executive Director in Crown Corporations and Portfolio Governance, Director of National Air Services Policy, Director of Urban Transportation Policy and Planning, and Director of International Relations. His experience also includes roles at the International Transport Forum / OECD as a Principal Administrator and as a Transport Policy Analyst at the OECD, where he served as a Senior Economist in Strategic Policy at Transport Canada.
