Marc D Anderson is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in software development, project management, and technology consulting. He has worked extensively in management and technology consulting across various industries and geographies, focusing on the Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 collaboration platforms. Marc's expertise in SharePoint spans many years, starting with its early versions such as TPU and Tahoe to the current SharePoint Online in Office 365. He is the author of the jQuery Library for SharePoint Web Services (SPServices) and has presented at numerous SharePoint events worldwide. Marc is also a repeat awardee of the Microsoft MVP award.

After attending Phillips Exeter Academy, Marc went on to study Computer Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania. He then held various positions in different organizations, including being the VP of Information Services and Faculty Member at USPJ Academy, the Director of Operations at Jornata, Senior Principal Project Manager at netNumina, Director of Professional Services at Arsdigita, and Senior Manager at both KPMG and Renaissance Worldwide. Marc was also a Project Manager at Information Systems Department at Staples, Manager of Consulting Support Services at Bain & Company, and Programming Manager at FleetTech.

Currently, Marc is the co-founder and President at Sympraxis Consulting, where he continues to work on the Microsoft SharePoint platform while building useful applications and components for it. He remains hands-on and actively involved in building what he designs.
