Michael Bailey is an accomplished Android Engineer with a wealth of experience in software development, technical delivery, and architecture. He is a well-respected Google Developer Expert (GDE) and Speaker, known for his exceptional presentation skills at conferences like Google I/O, Google Test Automation Conference, DroidWorld, and others. Bailey worked at American Express for many years, where he started as the original Android developer and then moved up the ranks to become the Director of Technical Architecture for Mobile and Digital Payments. Over the years, Bailey has worked on many high-profile projects, including NFC payments, enterprise content management, US homepage, and US e-apply, among others. Bailey also co-organizes GDG Phoenix, a local chapter of the Google Developers Group, where he shares his expertise with other like-minded individuals. He graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College and the University of Southern California, respectively.
