Liz Nield

Liz Nield is an accomplished collaborative planning and process designer, facilitator, and community engagement expert who focuses on empowering people to discover, dream, design, and deliver.

She is a proponent of guided learning and utilizes appreciative inquiry methods to establish integrity and trust in the process participants.

Liz excels in integrating community values and ideas into public policy across various projects, emphasizing the value of meaningful engagement and contemporary communications.

Her specialties include collaborative planning & process design, strategic planning, sustainability planning and training, corporate social responsibility strategies, organizational design, and community engagement.

With a background in MBA, management consulting, leadership, and sustainability from Royal Roads University, and a diploma in business management from McMaster University, Liz brings a strong educational foundation to her work.

Currently serving as the CEO at Lura Consulting, Liz has previously held roles such as an instructor at Seneca College, executive committee member at Hamilton Sustainability Professionals Network, and consultant/manager of strategic planning at Lura Consulting.

She has also been part of the board of directors at Sustainable Hamilton Burlington in Canada in addition to her contributions in administration and finance at Lura Consulting.
