Next to writting my thesis I support the department in its daily work:
-  Support colleagues in developing the other offers and contracts;
-  Carry out research for the different focus areas of the BDM'ers;
-  Maintaining the CRM system;
-  Arrange tours to external parties;
-  Maintaining customer contact by phone and by email;
-  Accompany BDM'er (s) at (International) customers visit
-  Assisting in the creative and commercial process.

Internship Business Development

For my internship I was working as marketing manager of the Netherlands and Belgium. I was responsible for the marketing of the Dutch website (spartoo.nl) and the Belgium website (spartoo.be). My tasks were contacting advertisement companies, magazines and intermediaries, controlling costs and negotiate about them and overall increasing the sales figures.

As a member of an animation team on bungalow parks and campsites, I was organizing events and tournaments. Furthermore I was guiding the children while they were doing creative activities, sports or theater and musical activities.

As a guide of bike tours and other team-building activities in the marl caves, I am responsible for the safety and the experience of the participants. Furthermore I am arranging the bookings and the payments. Next to this I am working at the office to research salesfigures, update data and communicate with intermediaries.

For this job my proceedings were serving the cashier, helping customers, parsing supplies, placing orders, cleaning the shop, replenishing clothing. Furthermore I was responsible for the orders, transfers and had the function of highlight manager in the store, which made me responsible of the elaboration of a number of commercial activities in the shop. During this time I did a service training and gain knowledge about fabric and clothes.
