Brian Pontarelli is a technology entrepreneur with a strong background in software development. He studied Computer Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder and started his career as a Senior Software Engineer at XOR, then BEA Systems as a CCE Engineer, and eventually rose to become an Architect at Orbitz Worldwide. He also led the technology department at Naymz.com as Director of Technology and founded CleanSpeak, where he served as co-CTO.

However, he is best known for founding and co-leading FusionAuth, a customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform that allows businesses to focus on their core products rather than identity and management issues. Brian's fusion of technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen was the driving force behind creating features that meet CIAM clients' unique needs, making FusionAuth the go-to platform for CIAM solutions.

In addition to his work with FusionAuth and CleanSpeak, he has served as the President of the Chicago Java Users Group and the Sponsorship Committee Chair at Denver Startup Week.
