I assessed current and future state implications for program epics and assisted with feature decomposition. I worked with a release train engineer to plan and track work for their ART and made recommendations for process improvements. I  created reporting views in Rally and identified opportunities for improvement and made recommendations to leadership.

I facilitated daily stand-ups, refinement sessions and program increment (PI) planning. I managed the Rally workspace for a scrum team of 20 and trained team members on Rally use. I also utilized Rally to track team progress and prepared reporting views for senior leadership.

I advised students on academic planning and guided them to success by helping them find the right fit major and stay on track to graduate. I utilized multiple software platforms to customize the guidance I gave to each individual. As one of the top three advisors at MTSU to utilize EAB's Student Success Collaborative, I was invited to participate in EAB's SSC Specialist Program. I also participated in beta testing for a software launch and trained fellow advisors in how to maximize the features of a new system.

By independently analyzing more than 150,000 student records using Excel and Tableau, I was able to determine trends for success and make recommendations for changes to academic policies. I was then put in charge of a team of 6 with the goal of revising academic standards based on the results of my findings.

At the Career Center, I have gained a better understanding of career exploration and how career consultants support students throughout this process. I advised students on their career path and major based on their MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory results. Students from a variety of majors brought their resumes in to be critiqued in preparation of applying for jobs and internships. I have conducted mock interviews to prepare students for the job search experience. I have also sat in on and led initial and follow-up appointments with students regarding major selection and the job search process.

As the graduate assistant for Capstone International Services, I was responsible for overseeing the activities of the International Peer Advisory Council. I organized and hosted a weekly coffee hour for international students to come and meet other students. Another function of this job was to process immigration document requests and ensure that students are maintaining their visa status. I also managed a database of incoming international students.

My most substantial role with The Navigators was in the one-to-one mentoring relationships I built with undergraduate students. I helped these students identify areas for growth and encouraged them in spiritual matters. I was also responsible for developing student leaders through training workshops and organizing large events like our annual spring break trips.

While interning with the International Rescue Committee, I helped to resettle refugees in the Tucson metro area by providing for their basic needs upon arrival. I worked under Case Managers to systemize the filing process to ensure records were kept up to date.
