Bhushan Darekar is an innovative inventor and mechanical engineer with a passion for developing new machines and seeing them in action. He thrives in interdisciplinary learning and has expressed interest in soft robotics, haptics, biomechatronics, and bioinspired robotics. He specializes in the design and development of flexible exoskeletons, haptic palpation devices, biomedical machines, RC flying machines, and mechatronic systems. Recently, he has focused on constructing a soft humanoid robot made from compliant links and flexible fluidic actuators. Bhushan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been affiliated with multiple organizations, including Inverion Systems (which he co-founded), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (as Research Assistant), and COEP Hyperloop (as Technology Lead), to name a few.
