Sandol Park is an accomplished professional with a diverse background ranging from international trade, sales and marketing to environmental sustainability and resource management. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has been awarded the Water Center’s Graduate Student Research Award 2019 for his exceptional work on water-reuse and rare earth elements recovery. Sandol has also contributed to the Water Center’s quarterly newsletter discussing stakeholder engagement in the Cobbs Creek Watershed. He is also the vice president of alumni relations at Penn Graduate Consulting Club - one of the largest student-run consulting clubs for non-MBA graduate students - where he brings his extensive experience in strategic planning and business development. Before joining the graduate program, Sandol worked for Hanwha Q Cells specializing in sales planning for photovoltaic (PV) industries in various locations such as Seoul, Istanbul, and California. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies from McGill University and served as an Army Intelligence officer at the US-Korea Combined Forces Command and United Nations Command. Sandol has extensive skills in international trade, SAP ERP, bilingual communication, and marketing. Apart from work, Sandol has interests in ice hockey, Taekwondo, soccer, and playing the alto saxophone.
