Marijn Koolen
Marijn Koolen is a seasoned professional with a PhD in Information Retrieval and a strong passion for digital humanities, information retrieval, recommender systems, network analysis, scholarly annotation, and digital research infrastructure. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Information Retrieval, an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, and a B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, all from the University of Amsterdam. Throughout his career, Marijn has held various roles at prestigious organizations, including being a researcher at Huygens ING (KNAW), a researcher and developer at KNAW Humanities Cluster, a researcher and developer at Huygens ING (KNAW), a lead developer at Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, an assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam, a postdoc researcher at the University of Amsterdam, a research intern at Microsoft Research, and a Ph.D. student at the University of Amsterdam.
