Paul Tesluk is a nationally recognized expert in leadership development, team design, and organizational change, and currently serves as the dean of the University at Buffalo School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University's ILR School. Prior to his role as dean, Tesluk founded and served as academic director of the Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness at UB, where he also chaired the school's Organization and Human Resources Department.

Tesluk has contributed to numerous academic journals and has been supported by agencies including the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. He is a fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Society for Organizational Behavior, and was elected to the executive committee for the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Tesluk has spearheaded expansions of UB's initiatives in entrepreneurship, health care management, leadership, social innovation, and global programs, as well as new academic programs including a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Management and several graduate certificate programs.
